Boxer Baby by Melchia Kutches
I love my boxer dog! Unfortunately he has passed over the rainbow bridge. This piece was created long before he died. I saw a quick stencil graffiti on a caution median street sign (it\'s still there, by the way)of a pug dog. It sparked my desire to make a stencil of my beloved Regalo (his name is in Italian for gift. He was found by a neighbor who named him and then the family moved, so our family was blessed to have him in our lives for 11 1/2 years!). I tested out my creation on this old white painted pine shelf board I had from a previous apartment with black spray paint. It has been propped in my house ever since. I have used this stencil with fabric paint on t-shirts, pillows and again spray painted some orange cones I use to prop open the doors to my art studio.
