I am a native Californian, born in Oakland a long time ago. With the exception of 3 years living in the Sierra foothills, I've always lived in the SF Bay Area. I graduated from Castro Valley High School in 1967. My left-brain skills allowed me to work in Supply Chain Management for 35+ years and I hold a lifetime CFPIM credential from ASCM. I have always encouraged my right-brain to express itself through my art and crafts.

Artist's Statement

I am a native SF Bay Area California based artist who works mainly with watercolor, pen & ink. Self-taught, my inspiration comes from objects and ideas I see and experience. When I translate my painting and sketching impressions and ideas to paper, I give a unique voice to them. My work is often described as whimsical and characterized by my unique point of view. I also create handmade soap, often sketching and painting while between processes where “I often create my art while waiting for soap to dry”.
