Artist's Statement

I work in multiple media, including wood, glass, ceramic, and metal. My primary love is stained glass, though it's drawn me into mosaic as well. I draw inspiration from artists and designers who marry geometric shapes and patterns with elements of the natural world, such as Frank Lloyd Wright, M. C. Escher, Theodore Ellison, Antoni Gaudí, and Andy Goldsworthy. I'm primarily driven by materials and love to start a project building on found objects.
