I've always felt that being an artist was my destiny. I started drawing before kindergarten, took art classes in college, but didn't focus fully on art until I retired. Primarily a studio painter, I have worked in a number of creative mediums in the past including stained glass, mosaic, clay sculpture and drawing. I'm currently working in both abstract and figurative series with emphasis on color, shape and movement.

Artist's Statement

I'm a Bay Area painter who strives to visually express some of my memories and experiences at a soul level. I hope something in my work touches you and evokes a feeling from somewhere you've been, someone you've loved, a thought or a dream you've had, or a moment in your life...something that words simply can't describe.
