This papier mache mask is an early piece of mine.  It\'s design continues the simplicity in the papier mache material.  I simply made a shield shape with a corner of cardboard, taping it even to be the shape I wanted.  Added waded newsprint and nose are.  Also adhered in place with tape.  After drying and painted I added ribbon in 2 colors by simply stabbing holes to pull through.
