Artist's Statement

For most of my life, my work has been to help others find and be in that place that endures, that keeps us going amidst the strife during troubled times. Being in nature, with brush or camera in hand, allowing time to focus and be easily supports the peace and simplicity that is so easily missed in a busy life. It’s an absolute bonus when I ‘get’ a good result on canvas or with a lens. But the best part is just the being, the practice, and sharing with others the joy we can find in these moments.
